JEE Main 2017 : Joint Entrance Examination ( JEE Main ). It is a Engineering entrance examination which is conducted every year for admission to Engineering and technology programmes at IIT, IIIT, NIT and various government founded institutions. JEE Main is a two stage Examination where the first stage is conducted for getting admission to various Engineering colleges including IIT's and NIT's, where as, the second stage of Examination is conducted for admissn to IIT's only.
Generally the notification JEE Main 2017 will be given on is December central board of secondary education (CBSE) will be organizing the JEE Main Examinations.

JEE Main 2017 Eligibility:
In order to appear in the exam JEE Main 2017 ,
Candidates should have passed in high secondary exam with PCM ( physics, chemistry, mathematics ) from a recognized board or University and secured minimum 50% marks in core subjects.
Students will get minimum 3 chances to clear JEE Main Examinations.
Tenth standard date of birth will be considered only. candidates belongs to general and OBC category should have born on or after 1st October 1992 ( for SC /ST/ PWD candidates, it is 1st October 1987 ).
In order to appear in the exam JEE Main 2017 ,

The last date to apply online for JEE Main 2017 and to upload the photograph was January 2017 and last date to pay the fee through credit / debit card was January 02, 2017 and through e-challan was January , 2017 ( up to working hours of the banks ).
